Pitch a work or a story
We’re looking for finished digital work by people in and around Canberra, and for stories about how this city makes things and spends time together.
What happens next
- We read the pitch and look at the work at the link you send.
- If it fits a story, we write to you before anything else happens.
- Together we agree the files, where they appear, for how long, the credit, any crops and any fee. Nothing is reproduced until that is written down.
- You see the feature before it goes live, and can ask for corrections or withdrawal later.
What it isn’t
- A pitch isn’t a licence to use your work.
- It doesn’t sign you up to a newsletter.
- You’ll never be asked to buy anything, post about us or link to us.
- New commissioned work is a separate, paid conversation, and only happens once a budget exists.

Send your name, a link to the work, your Canberra connection and a few lines about the story. Links are enough; please do not send large attachments.
